Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1960) is an American writer and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She's an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, as well as an adjunct professor at University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary on the National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning programs, and hosts her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985, and the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl served as a US attorney in the United States. She served as a legal correspondent for NPR's All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She served as a professor of law and an appointment at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. Wiehl has been an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
