Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress as well as a musician, playback singer and actress for Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian family. Her father is a Madras High Court lawyer. Her younger sister is a research assistant from Belgium and lives in Leuven. Jeremiah grew up in the vicinity of Chennai, was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea began learning classical piano when she was eight. She was an avid geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. The actress was also a stage student at her school and performed in a variety of performances staged by The Madras Players and EVAM. She served as the head of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started her acting career with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. She starred in a new leo advertisement with actor Shiva. She was also in the Podhigai Channel, a television series. The actress has also appeared roles in India. She played a brief performance at the close of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to portray a lead character after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea played Kalyani the housewife whose husband has an extramarital affair.
